OECD Leading Indicators Show Growth for Third Consecutive Month

The Portugal News 11/10/2018

The Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development’s leading indicators on Monday pointed to economic growth in Portugal accelerating for the third consecutive month in August.

The leading indicator was situated at 99.68 points in August in Portugal, after reaching 99.6 points in July and 99.5 points in May.

The OECD said it forecast a slowdown in most of the European Union’s greatest economies except for Germany, where it forecasts stability.

The OECD leading indicators are designed to provide early signs of turning points in economic activity.
